Basic Guidelines
- Use Steel Steamer (Buy from Amazon)
- Store at -18°C in a deep freezer only
- Never store at room temperature or regular fridge
- Steam directly from frozen – do not thaw
- Use non-stick silicone momo jali/net with oil to prevent breakage
- Avoid oversteaming for best texture
Steaming Process
- Fill steamer with 70% water and boil it
- Place steam sheet & grease with oil
- Arrange momos with small gaps
- Close lid and steam for 10 minutes
- Serve hot with chutney and mayo
Oil Fried Momos
- Steam for 5 mins
- Heat oil to 160°C and fry till golden brown
- Don’t fry directly from frozen
